Monitoring
As part of our services for new businesses, Startr Co. provides ongoing monitoring to ensure that we are capturing clients’ coverage in a timely fashion.
When monitoring for media relations for startups, our team utilizes services like Critical Mention, Talkwalker and Google Alerts. We also conduct regular Google searches for our client’s brand names and any other affiliated keywords so that nothing is missed.
When monitoring as part of our influencer marketing campaigns, our digital team checks in regularly with influencer partners to be able to report on and maximize content in real time.
Whether it is via a service or manually, our team makes it a priority to be the first to report on new and exciting coverage so that clients can share with all brand stakeholders and repurpose in a way that best suits their needs.
Analytics
When reporting, our teams look to include any and all analytics that can provide clients with clarity as to the success of their campaign.
In regard to media relations, we will always provide clients with impressions as well as any other information that we are able to decipher from Google analytics or the use of unique codes. We also work closely with clients to understand what specific analytics are most important to them and how we can more closely monitor them throughout the campaign.
In regard to influencer marketing and work in social media, our team uses Sprout Social to interpret the back end of clients’ accounts and how influencer or social media work is positively impacting following, engagement, etc. In this arena, we also track and monitor the use of unique codes to see which influencers are resonating with our clients’ audiences.
Real-Time Reporting
When it comes to breaking news, A-list coverage, or urgent requests, our team reports in real time. Depending on the level of urgency, we may email, call, text and everything in between. More than anything, we want to make sure that no opportunity is missed by being speedy yet thoughtful in our responses to media and influencers. We pride ourselves on being flexible enough to jump on opportunistic stories and collaborating closely with clients to yield the best overall results.
Additionally, our team creates comprehensive PR Tracker documents for each client that are updated in real time. The PR Tracker will have a designated area for all those opportunities in motion with current notes, as well as for all published coverage. This document makes it easy for clients to review the results of their campaign at any time.
Weekly Updates
Startr Co. provides weekly email account updates to give clients a simple and comprehensive overview of new coverage, new opportunities, and any requests that need responding to. These weekly updates help to keep our team accountable while also helping to reduce unnecessary email clutter throughout the week for any non-urgent items.
Monthly Account Call
Monthly account calls happen in the first or second week of the month and serve the purpose of allowing the larger team to catch up and debrief on all campaign items. During this call the Startr Co. team discusses all results and strategy as well as any assets needed to move the campaign forward. Clients usually share new updates and provide feedback on results and everything in motion. Our team finds these monthly calls to be extremely useful in ensuring that the campaign is moving forward in a productive way with all parties aligned on the plan of action and desired/expected outcomes.
Quarterly Board Meeting Reporting
For those clients who have a need, Startr Co. has the ability to create unique and specific reports for use in quarterly board meetings or meetings with board members. These reports will vary in size and scope based on the client's need and can be used to more specifically report on campaign insights, trends within the category, opportunities for the PR campaign moving forward, etc. These are usually done in whichever format makes sense for the client and can be added on as a deliverable of the campaign for an additional fee.
Campaign Wrap Report
Following the close of every campaign, Startr Co. will create a wrap report which outlines all results and highlights key learnings, press and influencer coverage. These reports provide a great overview and create the opportunity to dialogue around the next iteration of the campaign and desired goals. They also provide a comprehensive presentation that can be shared with key partners, retailers, etc. to showcase the presence of the brand within the media/influencer landscape.
